Barely a week from now, once again the advertising industry’s largest conference, Advertising Week, commences in New York City. Given the sheer number of panels, fireside chats, and featured speakers offered at the 13th annual event, we’ve curated a list to help you narrow your choices and hear the latest and greatest from the worlds of programmatic, creative, mobile and video.
First, check out a session entitled “The Programmatic Evolution” at 2PM on Monday, September 26 at the Times Center Stage. The all-star panel, including Bloomberg, Rubicon Project, OpenX and Acxiom, will dive into the balance between the tech-driven ecosystem and the timeless value of great creative and big ideas.
Next up, be sure not to miss a session on one of the hottest topics in advertising right now – ad blocking. Hear Digital Content Next CEO Jason Kint and other industry experts in a talk entitled “Creativity Wins: Overcoming Ad Blocking with Smart, Compelling Experiences”, exploring the connective tissue between smart, compelling experiences and the industry-wide effort to combat ad blocking. Takes place at 2:45 PM on Tuesday, September 27 on the ADARA Stage at Times Center Hall.
On Wednesday, make sure you carve out time for an important discussion, especially relevant to those of us at Flite, entitled, “Big Data, Great Creative.” Executives from AOL, Dr Pepper Snapple Group, and Energy BBDO take the ADARA Stage at Times Center Hall at 2PM on Wednesday, September 28, to discuss numerous ways that big data is driving impactful creative.
If you have any energy left from a jam-packed week of networking and learning, put on your seatbelts for a wide ride across social, video, mobile, creative, data, content, and the ever-changing digital landscape. The session, entitled “Digital Advertising For The Post-Website Social Era,” takes place 10:30AM on Thursday, September 29 at the ADARA Stage at Times Center Hall and is bound to open eyes and discussion.
Lastly, make sure you have Platinum or Super Delegate credentials, so you can attend the Advertising Week Wrap Party at 8:30 PM on Thursday, September 29 at Webster Hall, featuring a live performance by the one-and-only Roots!
